The Product Circle jobs and opportunities board is a members-only, always-open board of product manager roles and founder openings, shared by members for members. Roles aren't listed publicly on this page. Because roles come from people inside the circle, you hear about them from someone you can actually talk to, and hiring members reach PMs and founders who have already been through a hand-reviewed application.

## What is the Product Circle jobs board?

It's one board for two kinds of opportunity:

- **PM roles**: product manager openings, shared by members who are hiring or know a team that is.
- **Founder openings**: co-founder searches, founding PM roles and other early-team positions where the job is to build something from close to zero.

Here are illustrative listings of the kind the board carries:

| Role | Context | Tag |
| ------------------- | ------------------- | --------------- |
| Senior PM, Growth | Fintech · Bengaluru | Referral |
| Founding PM | Pre-seed · Remote | New |
| Co-founder, product | Climate · Mumbai | Founder opening |

These are examples of the format, not live roles.

## How the jobs board works

What we can say publicly:

1. The board is **always open**. It isn't a monthly digest; roles can be shared whenever they come up.
2. Roles are **shared by members, for members**. Members post them, and members see them.
3. It covers both **PM roles and founder openings**.

How you post and where the board lives are shared with members once they join.

## Who the jobs board is for

### PMs looking for their next role

A role shared by a member comes with a person attached. You can ask what the team is really like, what the last PM struggled with, and what the interview loop looks for. If you're preparing, our guides to [product manager interview questions](https://productcircle.club/blog/product-manager-interview-questions) and [product manager salary in India](https://productcircle.club/blog/product-manager-salary-in-india) are a good place to start.

### Founders hiring a first PM, or a co-founder

Hiring your first PM is one of the hardest product hires there is. The board puts your role in front of PMs and founders who chose to join a product community, not a general job site. If you're not sure what the role should look like, read [what is a founding product manager](https://productcircle.club/blog/what-is-a-founding-product-manager) first.

### Hiring managers at larger companies

If you lead a product team, sharing a role with the circle reaches people you may already know from the [weekly AMA](https://productcircle.club/membership/weekly-ama) or the [chai meetup](https://productcircle.club/membership/chai-meetups).

### People moving into product

If you're switching into product from engineering, design, consulting or elsewhere, the board shows what roles actually ask for. Our guide on [how to become a product manager in India](https://productcircle.club/blog/how-to-become-a-product-manager-in-india) covers the switch.

## How to post a role that gets good replies

This is practical advice, not a set of board rules.

1. **Lead with the job, not the company.** "Founding PM, pre-seed, remote" tells people in one glance whether to read on.
2. **Say what the PM will own in the first six months.** "Own onboarding and activation for our merchant app" beats "drive product excellence".
3. **Be clear on location and working pattern.** Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, hybrid or remote. Ambiguity costs you good candidates.
4. **Share a compensation range if you can.** It saves both sides time, and serious candidates appreciate it.
5. **Name the stage and team size.** A founding PM at a five-person pre-seed company and a PM at a 500-person scale-up are different jobs.
6. **Say whether you'll refer or hire directly.** If you're posting a role at your employer, say whether you're the hiring manager or happy to refer.
7. **Reply to everyone who reaches out.** Even a short "not this time" keeps your reputation in the circle intact.

## How to use the board when you're looking

- **Ask before you apply.** Message the member who shared the role. One honest conversation tells you more than the job description.
- **Be specific about what you want.** "I want to own a consumer growth funnel at Series A or B" is easier to help with than "open to opportunities".
- **Make your intro work for you.** Your [member intro and tagline](https://productcircle.club/membership/member-intros) is what people see when they think of who to refer.
- **Help others first.** If a role isn't right for you but is perfect for someone you know in the circle, pass it on.

## An example of a strong listing

Here's an illustrative example of how a clear listing might read. It is not a real role.

> **Founding PM — Pre-seed — Remote (India time zones)**
> Five-person team building inventory software for small pharmacies. You'll own discovery and the first version of our ordering flow with two engineers. Founders have run pharmacies; neither has been a PM. Salary range and equity shared on first call. Message me directly.

In five lines you know the stage, the team, the problem, what you'd own and how to reply.

## How the board fits with the rest of membership

The board works best alongside the people you meet elsewhere in the circle. [Office hours](https://productcircle.club/membership/office-hours) with VCs and founders who have hired before can help you shape a role or an offer. The full list of what members get is on the [membership page](https://productcircle.club/membership).
