Product Circle membership gives product managers and founders six things on a steady rhythm: a weekly 45-minute AMA, a product teardown every two weeks, an intro with a one-line tagline when you join, an always-open jobs and opportunities board, a monthly chai meetup in person, and office hours with VCs and founders. It's small enough that people know each other, and joining is by application.

Each format is short and regular on purpose. You don't need to clear a whole weekend to get value. You need 45 minutes a week, and a question worth asking.

## A weekly AMA

Every week, members get 45 minutes with a PM or founder. Questions come from members and are answered live. The line we use for it is simple: bring the questions you can't ask at work. That might be how someone handled a CEO who kept changing priorities, how they priced a first product, or what they'd do differently in their first year as a founder.

The schedule and how to join each session are shared with members. Read more on the [weekly AMA page](https://productcircle.club/membership/weekly-ama), and if you want to make the most of your question, see [how to ask good questions in an AMA](https://productcircle.club/blog/how-to-ask-good-questions-in-an-ama).

## Product teardowns, every two weeks

Every two weeks, the circle picks one product and takes it apart together. Notes go under three labels:

- **Works** — for example, "Address saved in one tap."
- **Doesn't** — for example, "Six permission prompts before the first order."
- **Steal this** — for example, "Delivery time shown before sign-up."

It's the fastest way we know to build product sense, because you're practising on real products with people who will push back on your reasoning. The [product teardowns page](https://productcircle.club/membership/product-teardowns) explains the format, and our guide on [how to do a product teardown](https://productcircle.club/blog/how-to-do-a-product-teardown) gives you a template to use on your own.

## Member intros, with a one-line tagline

Every new member is introduced to the circle with a one-line tagline, so people know who to talk to. A good tagline tells people what you do and gives them a reason to start a conversation. An illustrative example from our site: "I make checkout boring, on purpose." — a PM in payments in Bengaluru.

The [member intros page](https://productcircle.club/membership/member-intros) has advice on writing yours and eight example taglines.

## A jobs and opportunities board, always open

The board carries PM roles and founder openings, shared by members for members. Illustrative listings look like this:

- Senior PM, Growth — Fintech, Bengaluru — Referral
- Founding PM — Pre-seed, Remote
- Co-founder, product — Climate, Mumbai — Founder opening

Because roles come from members, you hear about them from people you can actually talk to. See the [jobs board page](https://productcircle.club/membership/jobs-board) for how to use it well, whether you're hiring or looking.

## A monthly chai meetup

Once a month, members meet in person over chai. Good conversation, no slides. It's where online acquaintances become people you know. Where and when each meetup happens is shared with members. More on the [chai meetups page](https://productcircle.club/membership/chai-meetups).

## Office hours with VCs and founders

Office hours give members time with VCs and founders who have raised, built and hired before them. You pick a 20-minute slot and bring one real problem: a fundraising question, a hiring decision, a product call you're stuck on. The [office hours page](https://productcircle.club/membership/office-hours) covers how to prepare, and our guide on [how to prepare for VC office hours](https://productcircle.club/blog/how-to-prepare-for-vc-office-hours) goes deeper.

## How the rhythm fits together

Over a typical month, the formats stack up roughly like this:

1. **Every week:** an AMA. That's around four a month.
2. **Every two weeks:** a teardown, so around two a month.
3. **Once a month:** the chai meetup.
4. **As people join:** new member intros.
5. **Any time:** the jobs and opportunities board.
6. **When slots are on the calendar:** office hours, booked 20 minutes at a time.

Nobody expects you at everything. Most members pick the formats that match what they need right now. A founder raising a round may lean on office hours. A PM changing jobs may live on the board for a few weeks. A PM trying to sharpen their product sense may never miss a teardown.

## Who membership is for

Membership is for product managers and founders, and the people moving between those roles. ## Frequently asked questions

### Which Product Circle format should I start with?

Start with the one that matches what you need right now. If you're raising or making a big hiring call, book an office hours slot. If you're job hunting, watch the jobs and opportunities board. If you want sharper product sense, come to the next teardown, and if you just want to meet people, the chai meetup is the easiest way in.

### Do I have to attend everything?

No. The rhythm is there so something useful is always coming up, not so you feel behind. Most members pick the formats that fit what they're working on.

### How many sessions are there in a typical month?

Roughly four weekly AMAs, two teardowns and one chai meetup, plus office hours whenever slots are on the calendar. New member intros happen as people join, and the jobs board is open all the time.

### How do the six perks work together?

They're designed to feed each other. You might first notice someone's one-line tagline in their intro, hear them push back in a teardown, talk properly over chai, and later ask them about a role they've shared on the board. The more formats you touch, the faster names become people you know.

## Apply to join

If the six things above are what you've been missing, the next step is a short application. A person on the team will read it. Start on the [how to join page](https://productcircle.club/how-to-join).
